Day 01 : CHINGAZA NATIONAL PARK THE BOGOTA (2 HOURS IN (4x4) CAR BOGOTA TO CHINGAZA)- Reserve Bosque Guajira

Early in the morning, we will depart to Chingaza National Park. This incredible place is located only one hour away from Bogota. We will be birding here all the day exploring Paramo, cloud forest and moorland ecosystems searching for:

Day 03: Guayabetal: Birding all day here…the Cundinamarca antpitta very hard to see
early in the morning (4:30 am) we left for a locality called monterredondo, 3 hours from bogota. Here we want to see the famous cundinamarca antpitta (endemic). Other targetes birds here: rufous antpitta, slate crowned antpitta, and green - grass tanager, Crested Bobwhite, Black Vulture, Roadside Hawk, Band-tailed Pigeon, Lined Quail-Dove, Chestnut-collared Swift, Green Violetear,

Tabacal, feeders hummingbird, magdalena valley birding
Early in the morning, we will start our way to the high Magdalena Valley. We will visit the Jardin Encantado: This hummingbird feeding station is only going to get more famous! Close to the birding site of La Vega and convenient for birders day-tripping from Bogota, several rare species of hummingbirds are virtually guaranteed here.

Then we will walk around El Tabacal  lagoon Park in the municipality of La Vega. There we will be able to watch birds like:
